Screening Exams provide you with ease of mind. They are preventative in nature, allowing you to discover abnormalities early on in their development. Board-certified radiologists read the exam results. A report is generated that is sent to both you and your physician.
One does not need a physician's order or prescription to obtain the test; individuals can schedule this test for themselves by contacting MDI. A physician to whom the test results are sent is required.
Being preventative tests, screening exams are usually not covered by most insurance carriers including Medicare.
